How To Get Rid Of Hot Sauce Stains – The Do It Yourself Way

Remove as much material as possible with a dull knife or spoon. Blot up excess liquid with a paper towel, working from the outside of the stain and moving in.

Mix of a solution of 1/4 cup vinegar and 2 cups cold water. Sponge the solution onto the stained area and gently work it into the carpet without scrubbing. Using a clean towel, begin blotting up the moisture. The stain should begin lifting onto the towel. Repeat this process until the stain no longer remains. Follow up with a cold water rinse, and thoroughly dry the area.
